EQUINE chiropractic

Just like humans, horses may have multiple stresses on their body which can create dysfunctional movement, sometimes developing into pain, and with the additional weight of a rider these forces are increased. Chiropractic plays an important role in improving and maintaining optimal movement, decreasing stresses on your horse’s joints and muscles, and helping to enhance their performance and comfort.

Treatments consist of a thorough observation and motion palpation exam to identify areas of joint dysfunction or unbalanced movements. Factors such as rider balance, tack fitting, foot balance, fitness levels, gait, and conformation abnormalities are also investigated.
